Great News!

Well this week was not the greatest week; but it got much better today...I got a job...doing graphics work! Yesterday a recruiter called me regarding my resume she viewed on HotJobs.com. She told me about an opening that an aircraft company had available, and they wanted to interview me the following day (Friday) at 11 a.m. I went for the interview and felt very confident that I would get the job, it just felt like a perfect match; but they had a day full other candidates to interview. So, today at 4:00 p.m. I got the phone call asking if I could start Monday morning :) I am so excited to start this new job!

I firmly believed I got this job because my mom and I prayed about it before I interviewed. My mom has prayed with me everytime I have gone on an interview...and everytime I was hired, and once it was on the spot and they had me start right then and there.

I am sure I will understand more in detail what all this company does, but it sounds like they work hand in hand with the military in regards to their plane maintanence and repairs; as well as owners of private aircrafts. Their website is www.king-aerospace.com. For the most part I will be creating business documents and forms (using Quark and Page Maker); and then once a quarter I will be creating a newsletter. I was told that this newsletter makes it to the General at the Pentagon---no pressure! Just kidding!
