There is certain music that I grew up on that I will always love. One of the groups that always brings back such fond memories is Poco.
Everytime I hear this song I think of dad driving the warwagon up around those mountain roads on our family vacations. Dad whistling and beating the steering wheel (playing the drums), mom riding shot gun in the passenger seat cross stiching, crocheting or just enjoying the view. And every once in a while you would see my mom reach over and grab my dads hand.
This song always brings me back to those memories that can never be taken away.

awww... it's funny the things that you kids remember that at the time, Dad & I never think about! It's not like we say,
"This will be a memory for them down the road."
I love POCO! In fact, I was listening to their Greatest Hits CD on while I was driving my stretch of the return trip this past Sunday! One of my most romantic memories of dad & I was going to a POCO concert when we were dating! I even remember the dress I was wearing!
Love, Mom
Amen Sister, I downloaded "Call it Love" on my IPOD about a year ago. I have alot of those type songs on my IPOD... .38 special, Chicago, etc. What about Nitty Gritty Dirtband "Fishin in the Dark" or Marie Osmond & Dan Seals "Meet Me In Montana". Good Stuff!
PS - I have yet to include any John Denver selections...I'll just listen to that when I am with Mom & Dad.
All right Jenn, I'll remember that! John Denver next summer at Motlong's Rod & Reel Resort!
Love, Mom
Ugh, can we have separate cabins??
