About a year ago I picked up Obama's book The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream and was rather surprised that my views really fit his. I was raised Republican, but this go around I decided I would pick the candidate that best fit my views-leaving parties out of it.
His views on the following issues are what I am particularly impressed by:
Education
Poverty
Immigration
Iraq
