Our Anniversary...

Yesterday was our 3 year wedding anniversary! Steven surprised me by taking me out to dinner and a movie! He took me to Bob's Steak and Chophouse, and it was excellent! Steven has a list he compiled of steakhouse recommendations and we have been making our way down the list for each special occasion. So far we have tried Ruth Chris, The Palm, and now Bob's Steak and Chophouse...and Bob's has been the best hands down! We started our evening off with calamari and crab bisque...both excellent! And then I had the crab cakes and Steven had their Houf de Boufe, or something, basically a large hunk o' beef. I loved my crab cakes, and he said the steak was awesome. For dessert we had a slice of carrot cake on the house for our anniversary which was alright compared to mine; mine rocks! They didn't use the secret ingredient (crushed pineapple--guess it's not a secret anymore...hehe). After dinner we headed to the movies and say '21'. Jenn was right...great movie! It didn't hurt that one of my favorite actors was in this movie, Kevin Spacey. I would definitely recommend the movie.

For an anniversary gift I got Steven an Eggcessory for his Green Egg (check his blog for an explanation of this thing, lol) and a framed photo of us that I had done some artsy photoshop stuff to. And he got me...rose bushes! I have been 'hinting' (read 'telling') Steven how much I want rose bushes...and I got them. Well not yet, but we are going to go get them. We are going grow climbing rose bushes on our back brick wall...so excited!

All in all it was an excellent anniversary, one to truly remember. And I got to spend it with my best friend. I love you Steven!
