Yesterday was a good day!

Yesterday was such a great day!

It started off with getting registered for all of my fall classes. I started back to school this past spring and loved it so much. I have missed not going to school all summer, so August 25th cannot get here quick enough! And the best part about this fall semester is I was able to get all of my classes at the campus right by our house. And when I say 'right by our house' I mean - you can see the campus from our home office window...if I choose to drive it is about 2/10ths of a mile from our driveway to my parking spot!

Now for the classes I am taking! I am taking an Intermediate Photography class, Graphic Design II and Digital Publishing II, which is only 9 credit hours, but all of my classes have labs as well...so it is more like 16 hours. PLUS, with these kinds of classes there is a lot of 'outside of class' commitment required for photographing and working on your design projects. So 3 classes will be PLENTY this semester.

So my day was going great, but the last part of my day was the icing on the cake (I love that metaphor, hehe). I had the privilege to photograph a seven (!) day old newborn baby boy named Riley in my studio! Check out the portraits here! I cannot express in words how incredibly pleased I am with the outcome of these portraits!

Photographing Riley yesterday just reminded me why I love what I do so much. I am giving these new parents a precious moment in their life frozen in time, forever.

So that concludes my awesome day yesterday. Today should be great as well...we are surprising the girls by taking them to the Yankees vs Rangers game tonight. It should be great game, tonight is the last game of the series, and so far we have won the first two...so we could sweep the Yankees tonight! Oh, and did I mention that we will be sitting in the Lexus Club Box? Husby did good!
