For my photography class we have been given the assignment of Fear / Nightmare. I have to tell you, I am struggling a bit with this. As a portrait photographer my job is to make you look fabulous; not scary and hideous! So, Lou offered to dress up for me and we try to get some ghost like pictures. I put the camera on a tripod and left the shutter open for a few seconds and had her move around to give the appearance of a ghost like figure. Here a few that turned out pretty good. While we were out there though, I couldn't resist getting a few shots that weren't so creepy.
So, I have to photograph more for this assignment and am having a bit of a mental block. I don't want to do 'in your face' horror movie type fears. I was thinking more of the psychological fears, fear of spiders for example. So if anyone has a fear that would make for an interesting photograph...let me hear it!
Jess: Just photograph a bear and that would be my great fear (just ask your mom...). Hey, idea: photograph a bear (zoo???) then photoshop me in holding my bear spray... that would give you an A++ for sure (grin). Love, Aunt Pam
