It is that time of year again. When the leaves start to turn colors (if you live anywhere other than Texas), the weather turns cooler (once again, if you live anywhere other than Texas) and kids start thinking about what they want to be for Halloween. As a kid, this is a very important decision which takes quite sometime to decide on. So this year when I asked Jacey what she would like to be for Halloween I was quite surprised. She answered with "Grapes!"
So then we thought about how we could make this happen. We bought her a purple track suit at Wal-Mart and then I got some purple balloons that we are going to blow up and pin all over her and paint her face purple! I am now trying to figure out the easiest way to attach something green to the hood for a stem. I am thinking a green sock filled with newpaper so it will stand up straight.
I am rather pleased with her idea because the track suit is reusable for the rest of the fall/winter season, so really her costume will cost us less then $5; and it so original! I will be posting photos in a few weeks!

I told Charlie about it and then said,
"If you did the same thing, only black, you could be storm clouds!"
Of course he looked at me like I had lost my mnd and said,
"People would think I was going as OLIVES!"
Ha Ha
Rock On Jelly Bean!
Love, Mom/GIGI
