bad timing

Ever hate when something bad happens and it is the absolute wrong timing? That was me today. I was photographing a child session out at the park and stepped wrong the on a piece of landscaping edging and twisted my ankle. I heard popping and crackling when it happened and immediately was in a great amount of pain. I pushed through the session but once I was done and go to my car I just burst into tears...it hurt so bad! I got home and cleaned up my foot (I scraped it up when I rolled it) and saw that it was already turning black & blue and swelling up. It hurts like the dicksons when I hyper extend my foot in either direction and when I move my foot to the left or right it pops and cracks real bad and just throbs. I have been icing it all night in hopes of a speedy recovery. This self inflicted injury could not come at a worse time! The next 2 weeks are filled with sessions as well as 2 weddings. At this time I am limping real bad and even considering pulling out the crutches in the garage. So please pray for a very speedy recovery; I am really hoping that once the swelling and bruising goes down it won't be as bad as I originally thought. Being a clutz stinks!

Jess, GO TO THE DR!!! It could be broken, especially since it is bruising... you are as bad as your mother! She wouldn't go to the dr about her knee (I don't know if she ever went to dr after vacation like she says she was...). Glad you to hear you are so busy with your photography business, that is great! Love, Aunt Pam

Take it from Aunt Pam...remember when she broke her ankle in Canada? You need to get an X-ray. Love you!

Jess I have to agree you really should have a Dr. look at it. I hope things are going well for Ya'll. Have a great day.
