Today it's back to the daily grind; last week was Spring Break and we had a blast! We took the girls to Medieval Times (click here to see pics) and then I took the girls down to Houston to visit my grandparents, Aunt and Uncle (I will have a link to pics later this week). So in some ways I see today as a fresh start to get back into some good habits and a less hectic routine.
I started this morning by waking up at 5am to go walking. Last week a friend of mine, Lisa, emailed me asking if I would like to be her walking buddy! I was so excited because when we walked together in the past the time just flew because we would chat the whole time. And seeing that Steven is kicking butt at his weight loss I figured it was my turn to get with it as well. So I got up at 5am, left the house at 5:15 to meet her at 5:30 to start walking. We ended up walking 5.15 miles in 1 hour and 15 minutes...it was great! And, I found out she also has a goal to run some marathons (like me), so now I have a workout/accountability partner. Oh, and she is a woman of faith...so I love chatting with her!!!
I am viewing this Monday as a way to start fresh with school as well. I am doing really well so far, but am stressing out about projects, tests, etc. So I am taking a new approach to help keep me organized and on track which will hopefully make things a little less stressful.
Well, it's time to go wake Jacey, she is going to love that I am waking her up with plenty of time to get ready leisurely. (Before Spring Break I was rushing in there to wake her up and whisk her off to school because I kept oversleeping.)
