What's Your Opinion?

I was listening to my favorite radio talk show, The Scott Wilder Show, on Christian Talk radio this afternoon on my commute to school and they were discussing a very interesting topic. The majority of the funds for Hurricane Katrina are going to be coming from the Federal Government, which in turn means also us tax payers. Which is great, we should all help our fellow man. But the question they raised was, New Orleans didn't become "Sin City" over night, it took decades to get to the way it was. And now a lot of money is going to be passed their way to rebuild, and should us fellow Americans have a say in how it is spent? Should we as America strive to keep the immorality out of New Orleans...or allow them to rebuild as it was before? I found this to be a very interesting topic and was curious on what others think.

I personally have never visited New Orleans, and so I guess I am not too knowledgeable on how bad it really was. But, I do believe that if we as America are rolling up our sleeves donating time, goods or money, then I believe we as Americans have a responsibility to not allow immorality and sin to rule that city again. Just my opinion.
