Monday night was studio night for my drawing class, meaning just working on an existing piece, so attendance is optional. So I decided to stay home and spend some time with my family.
When Steven got home from the gym he was STARVING and asked me what was for dinner. So when I replied with, "Chicken Cordon Bleu" he said, "I need warning before I eat that to prepare myself." LOL! He then said that he was tired of cracker food and wanted some good mexican food (deep inside I was doing the happy dance). So naturally, since I dont cook mexican food, we had nothing in the house for it. So I went with list to the grocery store.
So we head to Albertsons, since its right down the road and I take Jacey with me. She LOVES going to Albertsons because they have the shopping carts with the cars on the front that she can sit in and pretend to steer.
So, we are in the Albertsons snack aisle to get tortillas (no, I still have not mastered tortillas so we buy them), and it was Monday Night Football and the Cowboys were playing...so there were a TON of people in the snack aisle getting chips, dip, etc. So Jacey starts beating on the horn in the little car on the front of the cart and yells:
"MOVE DAMMIT!!!"
Jess: Jacey, we do not say that word...and where did you hear that?!
Jacey: My daddy says it in his fast car.
I told Steven and it made his night, but needless to say, she is certainly at that age where she is like a sponge and soaks up everything we say and do.

All I can do is laugh, I am sure my day is coming! How funny. I've already taught Aly to say "Shake your Booty" but she has also picked up darn it and "shoop" = shoot.
