Well it's been awhile since I have posted...life at Casa de Leija has been crazy! First off, I started my new job...and I love it! I am the only graphic designer for a company of 800 employees, so it's been rather hectic at times. I really like this company and the owner; it's a great fit for me and I see this being a long-term job/career. Due to the new job and the time it consumes, I will be cutting back on my schooling next semester. I will only be taking one, maybe two, classes. But, I am getting more experience here than I ever would at school.
We are all doing great though. We spent 3 out of 4 weekends last month in Lubbock; and it was wonderful getting to see our family. With them living 5 hours away, we don't get to see much of them...so it was a real treat to see them. We had a great time, eating, visiting, eating, watching football, eating, eating and eating. Hehe. We also met Steven's uncle Mateo and his aunt Sally. They live in Colorado Springs with their 4 children and he works for Focus on the Family.
So, thats our past month in a nutshell!
