So I registered for my classes for the Spring semester. Due to the degree I am pursuing being so new a lot of classes were not even available yet, so I am taking 2; Digital Imaging I and a Running class. I had one more PE credit to knock out, so I figured I would get it over with.
So today is my first run class...and its 27 degrees outside! I am really NOT looking forward to this! LOL! Who signs up for a running class in winter? Oh thats right; ME!
We have our pre-fitness test today to give us an idea of the goals we are going to accomplish this semeseter, and then we will post-fitness test in May to see how far we came.
I will update this after my run...

UPDATE: So the drill sergnt of a professor told us on Tuesday that we signed up for a winter running class so us pansies were going to run in the cold. So I layered up...a lot. Two pairs of pants, wool socks, long sleeved shirts and a vest. So we get into the gym to start our warm up and she has pity on us pansies! We work out inside! Great right? NO! I was sweating like a pig the entire time! I am surprised they werent running behind me with a mop!
I got a few of my results from the fitness test, I ran .986 miles in 12 minutes and my flexibilty results for the sit & reach were 19" which puts me in the average category, and the results of my zipper test were 1.25" which puts me in the marginal fitness zone. I am pretty happy with these results...I am not starting from the bottom of the barrell, so I think what I am wanting to accomplish through this class should be feasable.
